Windows 10: Mouse Cursor Jumping, freezing, going sideways, and clicking everywhere.

I recently updated Windows 10 and at that same time bought a new charger, since my old one finished having its last breath. My old charger had come in with my laptop. I bought a surf on 65W universal laptop charger from Walmart. It had a tip that worked with my HP Pavilion Laptop 13-an0xxx. So after I began using my charger and had updated windows my cursor started acting berserk. Moving around up and down, sideways, freezing, and clicking everything. I was playing a few games using an auto clicker when it then started happening. I deleted the auto clicker thinking it caused my problem as if i

Jumping mouse cursor

Mouse cursor keeps jumping out of control. I've uninstalled it (there were 3 listed under the mouse device) and then updated the device driver. Didn't fix it. What do I do?

Method 1: Adjust the settings of your mouse: Many times your jumping mouse cursor can be fixed easily by changing the mouse settings on your computer.



Press Windows key + X, go to the Control Panel in your laptop computer and click on the "Mouse" icon;

You can change a variety of settings including the sensitivity and speed of your touch pad and the speed of your external mouse.



If the issue persists, proceed to next method.

Method 2: Update your drivers: Another good idea when trying to solve a jumping or skipping mouse cursor is to make sure your mouse drivers are up-to-date. To do this, go to your mouse manufacturer's website and search for newer, updated
drivers and install them on your computer.
