Windows 10: Mouse cursor moves but does not function properly on screen after some time and clicks...

Mouse cursor appears on screen and moves with movement of mouse, but clicks do not result in action after sometime . Clicking results in item clicked so the mouse is contacting, but click is not being registered doesn't open and close anything or any other action performed . I checked my mouse nothing wrong with my hardware. Each time I restart the Surface the mouse click "works" for the first click and sometimes more, . Then the functionality goes away. Because that is when this started. This MUST be fixed, I have to have a functioning mouse. it's not only with my mouse but also

Mouse cursor appears on screen and moves with movement of mouse, but clicks do not result in action. Clicking results in highlighting of the item clicked so the mouse is contacting, but click is not being registered (not sure of correct terminology here.)
I bought a new mouse and a new hub, everything is in place, settings all look good, both mice have this same issue. One is Anker, one Logitech. I am going nuts using the touch screen. Each time I restart the Surface the mouse click "works" for the first
click, and a tiny blue circle appears. Then the functionality goes away. I see a number of similar issues represented here but not one exactly like this. Is this all due to the software upgrade? Because that is when this started. This MUST be fixed, I
have to have a functioning mouse!

 

Mouse Cursor Moving Spontaneously

Hey All,

I have an MSI GE72 2QD Apache Pro laptop with Windows 10 64-Bit OS. I use a wireless Logitech M510 mouse.

My problem is that my mouse cursor will move spontaneously at different times and start randomly clicking on things. Super annoying.

Things I have done to try to revert the issue:

• Made sure my drivers for both the touchpad and wireless mouse were fully updated.
• Rolled-back the drivers to see if that would fix the problem.
• Completely uninstalled the drivers and then reinstalled them.
• Disabled the touchpad, which does work, but I don't want to keep it this way.

Since disabling the touchpad is the only thing that seems to work, I am thinking it has something to do with that.

Any suggestions or tips that might resolve this issue?

Click and drag keeps speeding up on touchpad

Do you face this issue while moving the mouse cursor normally on the desktop screen?

If yes, I suggest you to follow the below steps in order to slow down the mouse cursor speed.

• Go to control panel.
• Click on mouse.
• under pointers options tab adjust the pointer speed, click
  apply and ok
