Windows 10: Mouse disconnects randomly

Hi

In the last few weeks late 2020 my mouse has started randomly disconnecting for a second and reconnecting. How do I know this? Well I can here the MS sound as the mouse disconnects and in game I lose all control for about 1-2 sec, then it comes back. Could happen once a game or several times in the space of a few minutes. This is especially frustrating when playing FPS games!


I read many forums about unchecking the "Allow the computer to turn off this device" under USB Root Hub properties.... uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers....updating BIOS etc all to no avail. And before I get a bunch of suggestions..... I replaced the mouse, used different USB ports and even replaced the motherboard... all without any affect !


Recently I decided to have my Device Manager open whilst playing the FPS and noticed something; there is a HID-compliant mouse device as well as my Logitech device. Thought I'd uninstall the HID and low and behold I ran several games without a hitch. Then suddenly I hear that sound again and guess what?... that damn device is back. And not long afterwards, the glitch happens again.


Logged a case with mircosoft but they keep saying I need to ring them as it happens : - virtually impossible as its so intermittent. I'm convinced they introduced a bug last update but can't/won't diagnose it.

Bluetooth Mouse randomly connects/disconnects

Hi

My brother has a Lennovo Notebook with Windows 10. He also has a Microsoft Designer Mouse (Bluetooth) connected to it. Now, just suddenly two weeks ago the mouse pointer did not move smooth anymore. Also the mouse connects and disconnects randomly and also
at quite some speed. He bought a new mouse (same mouse) and still the same story. He connected my MS Sculpt Mouse.... and still the same story. I have updated the Lennovo Bluetooth drivers but the problem persist. I searched for drivers for the mouse but couldnt
find any. Any suggestions please?

Mouse And Keyboard disconnecting Randomly

My mouse and keyboard is turning off for few seconds and turn on. And sometimes completely Disconnects . Then i have to reconnect them. Then some times the mouse frozes for few seconds. keyboard and mouse turns off randomly more often during playing Games.
I have tried the power management thing but didnt work. Thank You

 

Headset, Keyboard, and Mouse Randomly Disconnect

I have tried that. These are the things I tried. I think it is an issue with Windows because this randomly started to occur. I also noticed that if I am playing game the disconnecting gets worse.

• Reset my bios
• uninstalled drivers
• uninstalled Logitech software
• reinstalled windows
