Windows 10: Mouse flickering and Windows Defender Not working

  1. Mouse flickering and Windows Defender Not working


    I recently bought a New Laptop and it was working great for a while, but then after I installed and uninstalled some software is started having issues. I first noticed that next to the mouse curser there is this small blue loading circle that keeps flickering on and off. I tried doing a Virus scan to see what the issue was, but I did not have any luck because I discover that windows defender is missing. I followed various instructions to try to fix that issue but nothing worked. When I go to services and Security Center the Startup type is grayed out and I can not enable it. Most of the Securi

    To address the flickering, we suggest that you rollback the driver of your mouse, you may follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows + R on the desktop screen.
    • Type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
    • Expand the category you want and right click on the driver and select properties.
    • Navigate to driver tab and click on RollBack driver.

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.
