    Mouse freezes randomly Windows 10 20H2


    Hi everyone,

    I did a windows 10 fresh install one or two months ago. I noticed my mouse freezes randomly when i'm browsing in chrome or playing games.


    My hardware:

    - intel DH67BL board

    - i7-3770 3.4 ghz

    - 12 gb ddr3 1333 mhz ram

    - rx 480 4gb no overclock

    - 250 gb samsung 850 evo ssd for system and apps

    - 465 gb samsung 860 evo ssd for games

    - 500w corsair psu


    CPU and GPU temps:

    - CPU: 40-80 degrees

    - GPU: 70 degrees full load


    Mouse, Keyboard and peripherals:

    - Cooler Master MS120 gaming keyboard

    - Cooler Master MS120 gaming mouse

    - Logitech C310 HD webcam

    - AOC G2460F 144hz monitor


    Windows Version:

    - Windows 20H2 build 19042.746


    I tried to uninstall and reinstall my mouse and usb controller drivers, checked for malware, fresh uninstalled and reinstalled my gpu drivers, changed usb port...

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.

    To better assist you regarding Windows 10 which freezes randomly, please provide the following:

    • Which is the last Windows update build you've applied to the computer?
    • Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?
    Furthermore, we suggest that you do a BIOS update to your computer. Here are the steps:

    • Check the motherboard manufacturer's website to find the specific model of your motherboard.
    • Go to the computer manufacturer's website.
    • Look for the computer model that you're using.
    • You should find any available BIOS update.
