Windows 10: Mouse Gets Stuck at Top Right and Selects on its Own

My mouse gets stuck at the top right corner and presses down. If I have a program open to full screen, like chrome for example, it will close it because the top right is where the 'X to close' is located. If chrome is minimized to a smaller window, and the X to close is no longer located at the top right corner of my screen, the mouse still travels to the top right but chrome remains open. I also noticed that once it is in the top right corner, it is as if a finger is touching down in that area because the light grey circle that appears under a finger when the screen is touched appears where t

unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

Mouse stuck in top right corner

so my dell has been having problems lately. At first it was just a memory issue whoch caused the whole screen to become stripes and flash till it froze and i had to force shut it down to get it to stop. This only happed when the screen went to sleep, so
i changed the settings so it never went to sleep. Then the new issue happened about a month later. The mouse is stuck in the top right corner. Turning off the computer doesnt help either. It stops for a few minutes till it starts back up. Mouse keys does not
work either. Can you tell me what is wrong with it and what to do to fix it?

I suggest you to run the Hardware and device troubleshooter and check.

• 
  Type “troubleshooting” in the search box and click on
  troubleshooter
  
• 
  In the left pane, click on View all
  
• 
  Now click on Hardware and device and follow the on screen instructions.
  

I suggest you to Un-install and Re-install Mouse drivers in compatibility mode and check if it works.

Refer the steps to install a driver in compatibility mode:

• 
  Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
  Properties
  
• 
  Select Compatibility Tab
  
• 
  Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
  
• 
  Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
