Windows 10: Mouse intermittently freezes or is jumpy

Hi I have windows 10 on hp z220. I have wireless mouse and keyboard. This has been working well for over a year. Last week the cursor froze or was jumpy. I replaced batteries in mouse and keyboard, no different. I did system restore and all was well. Yesterday the same thing was happening. I swapped in a different hardrive with same os that I haven’t used in probably six months. Same thing with cursor. About 8 hours later I started computer and the mouse is now working fine. As far as I can tell all the programs run fine it’s just the cursor. Any ideas what the problem could be?Thanks

My Logitech wireless keyboard intermittently is not responsive to keystrokes and the mouse becomes jumpy and non responsive.

I have the same set up at home that I do at work.

This issue is prevalent on both machines.

Both machines are running windows 10

Both machines are using the same Logitech Wireless Keyboard and mouse.

This keyboard and mouse set up uses a USB port plug to communicate with the keyboard and mouse.

There is no reset button on the plug or the board or the mouse.

This intermittent issue has become more pronounced in the last 4 weeks.

I have used the same mouse and keyboard setup for the last 2 years at work and the same set at home since July.

I have reinstalled the drivers. I have changed the batteries. I have rotated the USB ports.

This is an issue that appears on sites across the internet but the one feed that is on this site that references it has been locked.

Jumpy Mouse Pointer

Using an HP wireless mouse with my HP desktop. The pointer is slow to respond to mouse movement and is jumpy when I try to get to something to click on. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling driver, running troubleshooter, and updating driver. None of those
worked. It's really slowing me down and making the use of my PC unpleasant. Please help.
