Mouse is not showing up on screen despite driver resets

My mouse is not showing up on my screen as well as not being responsive, such as when logging into my PC. It's being registered by my computer. I have tried uninstalling the HID-compliant mouse driver and removing the corsair mouse from my devices, unplugging it, waiting a bit, plug it back in but no change. I've also checked iCUE corsair program for mouse-specific drivers but my iCUE and mouse drivers are all up to date, yet still no change. The mouse works on other computers and other mice are not working on this computer. Not sure where to go from here.

    :)

Wireless mouse "driver is unavailable" issues

    Hi,

The error Driver is unavailable means that there is no available driver installed for your mouse that’s why it is not working. We suggest that you check the mouse driver from the device manager. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
    • Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

If there is none, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer’s website of the mouse and download then install the latest mouse driver compatible to Windows 10.

Get back to us if you need further assistance.

  3. Regions speech not available despite correct language pack install

The issue still remains unresolved, as English (Australia) simply does not show up in the list despite following all suggested steps to date (which I had done previously)

Keyboard and mouse unresponsive at lock screen

    Hi Sean,

Thank you for using Windows 10.

I understand your concern and would suggest you to try to boot into Safe Mode with Networking. Here is the steps:

    • Press and hold the shift key while clicking on
      Restart
at the login Screen (Bottom right corner) > Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>Startup Settings>
Restart >>Choose Enable Safe mode with networking.

If the mouse/keyboard works, then update the Mouse and keyboard driver. Here is the steps:

    • Press Windows+X key on your desktop and select
      Device Manager.

    • Locate the mouse drivers, expand, right click and click
      on Update.
If it doesn’t help, then I would suggest you to
uninstall and re-install the drivers in compatibility mode. Here is the steps:

    • Go to your manufacturer’s website
and download the Driver’s setup file for your computer.
    • Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run box.
    • Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
    • Under Driver, expand, then right click and select
      Uninstall.
    • If you are prompted to Confirm then Confirm.
    • Go to the location where you had saved your downloaded setup files of the drivers and
      right click, then select Properties.
    • Select Compatibility Tab.
    • Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
    • Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
Keep us informed about the status of the issue and let us know if you need further assistance and we’ll be happy to help you.
