Mouse Issue on Remote Host

Hi One of our staff uses either Connectwise or LogmeIn to remote to his host machine in the office. When he remotes in, the mouse is not working moving. I, as an admin, remote to his machine using RDP. As soon as I remote in the mouse starts working. Any ideas? I updated everything such as Drivers, Windows, Connectwise and LogmeIn applications. The desktop he remotes to, does not have any physical Monitor, mouse , keyboard , etc connected. There are 2 display dongles plugged to the remote desktop. ThanksBahar

    :)

Wireless mouse "driver is unavailable" issues

    Hi,

The error Driver is unavailable means that there is no available driver installed for your mouse that’s why it is not working. We suggest that you check the mouse driver from the device manager. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
    • Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

If there is none, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer’s website of the mouse and download then install the latest mouse driver compatible to Windows 10.

Get back to us if you need further assistance.

  3. Remote Desktop vs. Internet Remote Desktop (Internet and LAN)

Thank you. What really puzzles me is that I have successfully set up other machines by simply forwarding 3389 and allowing Remote Access, well, access so the two additional steps (if they are additional) puzzle me since I've never (deliberately done them
    before)

I did not (and have no idea how to) create "a tunnel port 389 on the host's router." Also, I don't know how I would allow "the host's firewall" to "allow port 3389 packets." As I wrote above, I've never been aware of doing this, but have successfully
set up internet connections so I'm really confused.

I have, of course, implemented the other steps:

    • The client must know the host's external IP address..
    • The host must have a fixed internal IP address.
    • The hosts's firewall must allow port 3389 packets.

So I'm really at a loss. Any other suggestions.

    Sorry to sound so clueless.

How to remove "HP Connected Remote" as a sign in account ?

Thank you for writing your query in Microsoft Community.

    • On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
    • Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
    • Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.
