  1. Mouse issue that constantly happens?

Okay so this has happened at least like 7 times now and it's getting ridiculous. So sometimes when I go out my younger brother will start smashing my keyboard up and stuff and he sometimes enables mouse keys. Which is no problem. I do Alt + Shift + Numlock to fix it. But now that doesn't even work? I then tried manually turning it off which again doesn't work. Is it not the culprit this time? Should I restart my PC? I'm going to be refreshing every 5-10 minutes because I'm mega desperate to fix this and hopefully I catch someone's reply. Thank you for reading

    :)

  2. Frustrating and annoying mouse issue

    Hi,

For us to provide you the possible resolution and the accurate information as to why you're having the issue, answer
    the following questions:

    • Have you tried using a different mouse on your Windows 10 computer and see if the issue persists?
    • Have you tried using your mouse on a different computer and see if the same thing happens?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

There's a possibility that you're having a mouse issue due to an outdated mouse driver. We suggest that you download and install the latest mouse driver from the manufacturer's website and see if it helps. After ensuring that the correct driver is installed,
check if the device is recognized in the Device Manager.

Your reply is most important for us to ensure we assist you accordingly.

Wireless mouse "driver is unavailable" issues

    Hi,

The error Driver is unavailable means that there is no available driver installed for your mouse that’s why it is not working. We suggest that you check the mouse driver from the device manager. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
    • Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

If there is none, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer’s website of the mouse and download then install the latest mouse driver compatible to Windows 10.

Get back to us if you need further assistance.

  4. Mouse issue that constantly happens?

Mouse pointer constantly has a wait circle.

    Hello Denise,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

To resolve this issue we need some information. Let us know the following.

    • Which Office application do you face this issue with?

    • Do you have the issue with all Office application or one or two?

Try opening one of your Office 2013 applications in the Safe Mode to check if an Add-In in the Office applications causes the issue.

Open Excel 2013 in the Safe Mode and check if you still have the mouse pointer flashing issue.

Follow the steps as suggested in the following Microsoft Article to open Excel 2013 applications in the Safe Mode:

I get a "stopped working" error when I start Office applications on my PC

Note: The above article lists steps for all Microsoft Office 2013 application/s, however, follow the steps to open the applications/programs in the Safe Mode for which you are experiencing the issue – in your case Excel 2013.
You may also follow the same steps to open other Office 2013 applications in Safe Mode.

Once Excel have been opened in the Safe Mode, check if the mouse pointer still flashes or stops flashing.

    Hope the above information helps.

    Thank you.
