Windows 10: Mouse jumping on screen

    Mouse jumping on screen


    Hello,

    I was having a problem with my mouse which sometimes makes it jump a couple of centimeters on screen or just flying across the entire screen. The jumping occurs only when the cursor is stationary, but the flying across the screen happens no matter the conditions. I have my mouse acceleration turned off and already tried troubleshooting, changing drivers, and changing what USB port my mouse is connected to. I am using a Genesis Xenon 220 RGB mouse.

    Mouse Jumps to the Left Side of the Screen

    Hi,
    I made sure that the mouse and keyboard had new batteries and was clean, no stuck keys. My antivirus software is up to date but the pointer still jumps to the top left of screen while typing, browsing or when I am not doing anything or just reading news articles on the screen. Just did it again whilst typing this message.

    Any suggestions most welcome

    Mouse Jumps to the Left Side of the Screen

    Open Control Panel Mouse and move to pointer option tab and un check snap to (center option)
    Click apply then ok and see if that has an effect.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
