Windows 10: MOUSE KEEPS DISCONNECTING WHEN I PRESS THE MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON

Hi,


I've been having an issue with my Lenovo yoga laptop when i use it with an external mouse either bluetooth or wired.


When i press the middle mouse button the mouse disconnects for a moment and then reconnects.


I've noticed this happeneing only in the last few days. Uptil then everything was fine..


I'm not sure if it's a windows firmware issue or something else? i.e. if a recent update is causing this?


are any other people experiencing this problem?


how can it be fixed?

Pushing button on my Mouse disconnects USB(s)?

Hey guys,

I have begun to notice that when i press the button situated on the right underside of my Razer Lachesis mouse, the USB slot disconnects, i lose complete mouse and keyboard control until i hear Windows reconnect the USB and power is restored.

Sometimes my mouse will feel very slow and sluggish in-game (forcing me to adjust mouse sensitivity) then i accidentally press this button again, the USB resets and the mouse goes back to its rightful speed, so i have to change the sensitivity again.

I can't remember when this started but i do know i played around with the Razer drivers a couple weeks ago. I have a feeling all this began with those drivers, even though i have uninstalled them now and tried to revert the mouse back to its default state.

What do you think the problem could be here and can i remedy it? Is the mouse just failing?

Mouse - recommendations

I picked up a Razer Naga 2014 (got it just over 2 years ago - so it's past the 2 year warranty).

The middle mouse button - click - hasn't been working recently and it's very annoying. Scrolling up and down work, but not the clicking aspect of the button.

I've contacted Razer support, they had to me uninstall/re-install synapse software (which I hate and I don't usually use) and create a new profile and unplug/plug back in the mouse and so on....the middle mouse button worked again for about 10 days and it's not working again unless I press really hard on it.

I went through the list of steps Razer gave me, like I did last time, but the middle mouse button is barely working, no matter how hard I press it. So....does anyone have any recommendations on a decent gaming mouse?

I don't need all the side buttons like the Razer Naga has, but I'd like a mouse that feels durable and is roughly the same size. Also, something that has been in use for 3+ years for you that hasn't given you any problems. Spending $70+ on a mouse, the damn thing shouldn't cause me issues after just 2 years. I still have my 7 year old, 5-button MS mouse that functions just like the day I got it and I still use it every day at work. Zero issues with it. That mouse cost me $18. Why is a mouse that's nearly 4x the cost crapping out after 2 years?

So, any recommendations on gaming mice you guys have been using for a good 3+ years without issues?

 

Mouse cursor becomes tiny when clicking middle mouse button

Setup:

• High PPI monitor (4K resolution, 15 inches), scaling set to 250%
• Windows 10
• Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 mouse
• "Windows Black (large)" cursor scheme

Whenever I click the middle mouse button on my Intellimouse the mouse cursor suddenly becomes tiny. This problem can be temporarily resolved by opening Mouse Properties and changing the Cursor Scheme.

Is there a permanent solution to my problem?
