Windows 10: Mouse keeps resetting

Hi!


Since I installed feature update 2004 my mouse keeps resetting, Windows signals that it is being disconnected, and reconnected. Sometimes several times per second. Now and then it gets disconnected and then reconnected first after about 5-10 seconds. During that time, the mouse is completely dead. I have a Logitech G500s so I can see that the computer have disconnected it since there are no leds lit up, so completely powerless. Before this update, my mouse worked perfectly, no issues at all.


What I have I tried?

- Deleted all USB root hubs

- Downloaded the latest drivers from Logitech

- Made sure I had the latest Intel Chip drivers

- Deleted the mouse in device manager and then restarted

- Installed the latest patch when it was release this week


Since Microsoft idiotic policy that a big update only can be uninstalled during max 10 days, I can no longer uninstall it. I had the old upgrade installer still on my computer, tried using that, but it simply says that there are a newer version and that I should get instead. So I can't downgrade by doing an upgrade installation either.


**** Microsoft? I'm sorry about this, but I'm extremely angry at Microsoft now and their policys and very very bad performance and trackrecord with updates, and they don't seem to learn from it either. I manage a small cluster at work with a virtual environment there, so I'm a proffesional user as well...


I have been trying to solve this for few weeks now, even waiting for the updates that I expected to come this week, but to no avail.


BUT, does anyone have any advice on how to solve my mouse problem?

Reset mouse settings in Windows 10?

• Navigate to Start>Settings>Devices.
• Click on Mouse and Touchpad.
• In the right pane, click on Additional Mouse Settings.
• Under Pointer tab, Click on Use Default.
• Click on Apply and OK.

Ive factory reset my computer but I can't use the mouse or the keyboard to select laugage

A device like your keyboard and mouse is not detected during factory reset.

• Are you performing a factory reset on a laptop or a desktop?
• Is this the first time you perform a factory reset on your device?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve your concern?

In the meantime, if you're working on a desktop, we suggest that you try to use a PS2 keyboard just to bypass the installation process. Once Windows is up and running, you may now plug your mouse and keyboard to initialize Windows to detect these devices.

My windows 10 keeps resetting mouse pointer speed each time i reset or turn off the computer why?
