Windows 10: Mouse & Keyboard become unresponsive in Windows 11, then unplugging the power cable shuts...

This issue started only after updating to windows 11. While working, sometimes, my laptop's keyboard and mouse become unresponsive. However, if I have some external mouse attached, that external mouse works fine and windows stays responsive. just that my laptop's keyboard and mouse totally die out. When this happens, I remove the power cable. Doing so shuts down my laptop for unknown reasons. Then I hit the power button with the power cable removed and the laptop turns on with a clean slate with all my work lost.Is there a possible fix for this?

Unresponsive mouse and keyboard could be due to outdated device drivers. Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse or keyboard? What about using the keyboard or mouse with a different computer or connecting another keyboard or mouse to your
computer? Here are some of the things you can try to check your hardware:

• Unplug USB cables and wait for a little while for the device driver to be unloaded by Windows, and then plug the device back in.
• Try using a different USB port on your PC.
• If you use a USB hub between the device and the PC, make sure the hub has power. If it’s still not working, try removing the USB hub and plugging the device directly into a USB port on the PC.
• Make sure that the cables on your device aren't damaged in any way.
• Check any battery-powered devices to see if they are fully charged or have fresh batteries.
• Make sure there’s no dirt blocking keys or sensors.

Mouse and Keyboard not recognised on boot until i unplug mouse

As the title says after resetting not shutting down PC from start menu my PC wont recognise my mouse or keyboard but when i unplug my mouse it recognises the keyboard and when i plug my mouse back in it recognises it agian... Windows 20H2 latest updates...

On a friends suggestion it seems i was able to fix the problem but cleaning out the CMOS. Dunno how this helped but at least Windows is recognising it fine on bootup again...
