Windows 10: Mouse/keyboard disconnecting (also printer) - Win10

My mouse and keyboard regularly disconnect. If I am using the PC (Win 10) and hear the disconnect noise and move the mouse about, it seem to reconnect. Otherwise I have to restart the PC using the switch at the back. Then it works again. This also applies to my wifi printer but I don't know how to make it reconnect at all but it does do so after hours or days on its own. Nightmare! Any help or even sympathy appreciated!

Disconnect all the external devices ( scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...), except mouse, printer and the keyboard.
