    Mouse lag after update to Version 1909 Build 18363.778 - April 2020


    I just did a major update to Version 1909 Build 18363.778 on April 16, 2020


    The mouse Microsoft Wireless Mouse 500 does not move smoothly. It often lags behind.


    Note - this happens before after a major Windows update. If I remember correctly, the fix was changing some setting that determined which actions took priority over other actions. That is, how the system resources were allocated. I know, pretty vague.


    Any polite suggestions gratefully accepted.

    Received notice, on my computer, that I needed to take the free update to windows 10 before my current version expired.

    I updated, the whole OS on 02/23/2020. Specs:= 1909, 18363.657, Build 18363. I now CANNOT change my default browser identification. Microsoft Edge is set as default, surprise, and I can't seem to change it to anything else, e.g. Firefox

    Suggestions???
