Windows 10: Mouse lagging on windows 10

Discus and support Mouse lagging on windows 10 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I need help troubleshooting this issue.     Mouse lagging on windows 10


    I need help troubleshooting this issue. Im unable to work and any simple task is impossible to execute. I use the worksation for work, not gaming.

    I've tried every fix I could found. Update drives, disable Nvidia High definition, downgrade the bios version latest wss installed etc, etc. Runned stability tests, hardware tests, looked for disk errors...Nothing worked!

    I have a x99 deluxe with xeon 1650v3, 64gb ram, gtx 1080, windows 10 pro 64 bit.

    Drivers were always up to date, despite the lack of updates for the motherboard. Plus, i recently reinstalled windows. A clean install.

    There are multiple trial and error steps that are in links:

    Evaluate each of these in the off mode and then return to the on mode:

    1) Turn off fast start up:
    Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
    2) Turn off Cortana:

    3) Turn off core isolation memory:

    Mouse Lag!?!

    Basically what it does is remove the mouse acceleration in XP. The mouse will feel slower at first, but eventually you'll get used to it... the only reason why I suggested the mouse fix was because mouse acceleration sometimes causes the sensation of having a laggy mouse (laggy meaning responding slowly). If you meant lag as in jumping around and generally not being responsive, then I guess you'll need to wait for more suggestions *Smile Mouse lagging on windows 10 :)

    Hi Zbigniew,

    I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue. I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check. Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

    • Type Mouse and Touchpad Setting in Search and hit
      Enter.
    • Change settings as per your requirement; click on Advance mouse options.
    • Change settings under Buttons, Points, Pointer options, Wheel.
