Windows 10: Mouse Lock on Games Not Working/Mouse Moving to Second Monitor

Whenever I play a game now my mouse suddenly won't lock to the game like it has done forever. The night before this problem I did update my computer and I wonder if this was a factor. For more detail whenever I played a game like Minecraft the mouse would be stuck in the middle of the screen like normal but now whenever I swipe left, towards my second monitor, it just goes to the other monitor, in other words the mouse can just move freely now. Beforehand I would have to tab out of my game to freely move my mouse.

Mouse Cursor not locking in Games

We appreciate the time and effort you have put in to resolve the issue. I would like to assist you with further information from here.

Sometimes with a multiple monitor setup when you move your mouse from left to right inside the game the mouse can leave the game and move to a different monitor. If while your mouse is on the other screen you click (thinking you are still in the game) it
can alt + tab you out of the game and in some cases crash it.

As an initial recommendation, I would suggest you to define a Keyboard Shortcut to Lock or Unlock Mouse Movements to the Monitor with Mouse Cursor. Once Mouse is Locked to one Monitor, you will not be able to move the Mouse Cursor to any other Monitor unless
you Unlock Mouse by pressing the Keyboard Shortcut again

Mouse not locking in place in games

I just noticed this problem when I got a secondary monitor. The problem is whenever I play games that my mouse needs to be in the first person or third person format with a crosshair, it will not lock into the center of my screen. Whenever I play games like Fortnite, my crosshair is in the center, but my mouse goes to my secondary monitor. Another problem is when I play roblox, my shift lock or first person is normal for a couple seconds but then my mouse just starts moving around the screen while it should still be in the middle. I have found one way to fix it but the problem randomly happened again and the same process didn't work a second time. I have suffered from this problem for about a year now and it is getting really frustrating.

 

Mouse Weird On Projected Monitor

Hi! I am currently on an Inspiron 5767 Gaming Desktop with a monitor. I am wirelessly connected to a Dell 5558 Laptop to use as a second monitor. The setup works fine in most aspects, but when my mouse goes from my Dell Gaming monitor to my Dell Laptop
monitor, the mouse starts having problems. It still works generally fine, but it moves very quickly and feels floaty. I am using a Corsair Harpoon mouse. How do I fix it, so that the mouse moves at a normal speed? I have tried adjusting resolution and
DPS, and neither has any effect on the mouse.
