Windows 10: Mouse moves over to second monitor in games.

This week this issue has started.My fullscreen games such as fortnite on Epic and DBD on steam used to require me to tab out to go to my second monitor, now they dont. The mouse now goes to the second monitor which affects gameplay. My games are not borderless or windowed. I have ran diagnostic and other fixes that have been posted and nothing has worked. This issue is always there on fortnite but arises on steam games when i open Gamebar. It is quite stressful as a streamer too!! Another solution was to install a 3rd party app which i should not have to when this was not an issue a week ago.

How to stop all the main screen icons moving to second monitor (Windows10) ?

This can be a default when opening a game to maximize the functionality of having two monitors. To clarify the issue, we need additional information:

• When you close the game, do the icons go back to the main display or does it stays on the second monitor?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Mouse will not move to or from monitor above main monitor

I have 3 monitors

2 stacked on top of each other and one vertical to the side.

I can move my mouse from the lower monitor, to the side monitor then from the vertical monitor to the upper monitor.

But, I cannot just move my mouse up to the top monitor.

Nor can I move my mouse down from the top monitor to the bottom monitor.

This is how they are set up




Moving monitor 1 to the side of 3, mouse can move into it from 3.

But when I move it back to the top I cannot move the mouse directly from 3 to 1 or vice versa.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

   • If you are using a dual monitor setup, the Dual Monitor Tools software can help lock your mouse to one screen, preventing it from moving to the second monitor. This can be particularly useful if the issue occurs when you move your mouse quickly during gameplay.
     
4. Check for Adware or Malware:
   
   • Adware or malware can sometimes cause issues with mouse clicks. Running a virus scan can help identify and remove any malicious software that might be causing the problem.
     
5. Update or Reinstall Mouse Drivers:
