Windows 10: Mouse pointer freezes if idle for more than a few seconds

Hello,I use a Dell XPS 15 computer that runs Windows 10; the device is pretty new less than three years old and as far as i am aware, everything is up-to-date.I utilize a lot of software programs such as Maya, Blender, Adobe products, ect, and up until recently, all of these programs have worked fine with no issues. Not too long ago I downloaded a software called Davinci Resolve and now, whenever I open any one of these programs not just Davinci, but maya and any other program I have, the mouse pointer freezes. I tried uninstalling Davinci and deleting any trace of it from my computer to

You can customize your mouse in a variety of ways in Windows. To change how your mouse pointer looks, you can follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the Start menu, then click Control Panel.
• Select Mouse, then go to the Pointers tab.
  
• Select the pointer you prefer from the drop-down list, click
  Apply > OK.

If you want to use a pointer that is not on the list, you can download it online. After that, go to Control Panel > Mouse > Pointers tab again, then click
Browse.

Mouse pointer freezes

Not all the time, but enough to make it annoying, my mouse pointer freezes if I move it across the page quickly. Sometimes it is only for 10-15 seconds - other times it's a lot longer. Sometimes I have to take the dongle out and put it back in the USB slot before it works. Is there some setting I'm missing? I'm running Windows 10 Pro ver 1909 on an Acer Aspire. The mouse is a Logitech M215.

 

Pointer of my mouse freezes

Hi! For the past 2 months, the pointer of my mouse (HP plugin, not wireless) freezes. It happens a few times within a one-hour period. It freezes for a few seconds then comes back to life. It's very annoying! Is there any fix for this, maybe a driver
update is needed? Thanks.
