Windows 10: Mouse scroll inertia

Hi,I have a very annoying problem that never happened before.When I use my mouse CAD mouse to scroll for example on a webpage and roll the wheel it never ends. This is specially irritating when I hover over other window/app because it continues there.Sometimes I even tap on the control key on the keyboard and then the new windows starts zooming.I want the scroll to stop by itself, just a roll and stop.How can I configure this?thanks

How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.

It is possible that the Vertical Scrolling is set to a higher numeric value. To assist you with your concern I would suggest checking the Vertical Scrolling to isolate the issue. Just follow these steps to isolate the issue.

• Press the Windows key and go to Settings.
• Click Devices and go to Mouse.
• Click on Additional mouse options.
• Click on the Wheel tab.
• Put a bullet on Roll the wheel one notch to scroll and change the numeric value to 2 or 3 (Depending on your preference.)
• Click Apply, then OK.

Check if this will resolve the issue.

Disable zoom in/out during inertial scrolling

I'm experiencing an annoying issue with scrolling on a touchpad on Windows10 in any browser:

When I scroll the page and stop touching the touchpad it keeps scrolling and slowly stops like there is an inertia effect. But if I press Ctrl while it's doing this the page will zoom in or out (depends on the scroll direction). And I hate this.

Is there a way to either disable the inertia or disable zooming with scroll/mouse wheel? There is NO such option in my touchpad settings. I have ASUS Smart Gesture installed.

Please don't suggest to uninstall touchpad drivers and let Windows install its own because without ASUS's drivers two finger scroll does not work at all. I'm looking for a way to disable zooming with scroll, not the entire scrolling feature of the touchpad.
