Windows 10: Mouse scroll jumps when scrolling

When I scroll my mouse it will jump the opposite way and it can be a little to a large amount. I am using a windows 11 laptop with a wireless mouse but I tried this with a wired mouse on a different usb port and the issue was the same. I have also tried updating the drivers which also didn't fix this. I have looked everywhere for a fix but can't find one, can anyone help me?

It is possible that the Vertical Scrolling is set to a higher numeric value. To assist you with your concern I would suggest checking the Vertical Scrolling to isolate the issue. Just follow these steps to isolate the issue.

• Press the Windows key and go to Settings.
• Click Devices and go to Mouse.
• Click on Additional mouse options.
• Click on the Wheel tab.
• Put a bullet on Roll the wheel one notch to scroll and change the numeric value to 2 or 3 (Depending on your preference.)
• Click Apply, then OK.

Check if this will resolve the issue.

USB Wireless Mouse Scroll Jumping

Recently, on Windows 10, when attempting to scroll the page will sometimes jump up, then down when I am scrolling. I am using a new Gear Head Wireless USB mouse, which in the past as worked perfectly well. I have tried solutions previously listed on the
web (cleaning the sensor, turning down the amount of lines that will be scrolled), and so far, nothing has worked. Any advice?

 

MOUSE SCROLLING PROBLEMS

Can anyone help me with a mouse problem of the scrolling jumping back to the top of whatever folder I am scrolling in. I have tried changing my mouse, uninstalling and reinstalling it, updating driver (which it does not need). It still jumps back up
to the beginning when I scroll. I never have time to click on a specific photo before it jumps back to the beginning. It is so frustrating. Any suggestions.
