Windows 10: Mouse scroll wheel acting up

I use my scroll wheel all the time while browsing websites. Lately it gets stuck and have to click the left mouse button to continue. I replaced the battery and the problem continues. I use a Logitech M325 mouse. Is it the mouse or is it another Windows 10 thing?

Windows 10 not registering Mouse Scroll Wheel input

Suggest you try:
a. A different mouse
b. Safe mode (will use different driver)
c. Check inside mouse- dirt can get into mouse around the scroll wheel - I find cat hairs accumulate
d.Check the value of




"WheelScrollLines"="0" - probably disables scrolling.
