  1. Mouse scrolling in steps and not smoothly

Hello. I hope someone can help fix this persistent problem I'm having. I suspect I have a problem with an IE setting as it has continued despite getting a new desktop. When I scroll with my mouse wheel, the page moves in steps and not smoothly. I have a Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse that I took apart and removed the arm that goes inside the wheel to create stepped scrolling. This improved this somewhat, but not completely. I have tried using a different mouse...a Hama...but that is the same. I have enabled smooth scrolling in flags. I have adjusted my settings many times, but nothing works.

    :)

  2. How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.

    Logitech G603 Mouse Scrolling Issues

    Hi all,
For some time now I have been having really frustrating scrolling problems - not just with this mouse, but I have tried 2 others with the same results. When scrolling with the wheel, the screen will scroll a short way ( up or down) and then scroll the other way - like a 3 steps forward, 2 steps back! The number of lines scrolling is also random at times, but NEVER smooth. So annoying. I have tried all the mouse wheel stuff in control panel. Having to use the scroll bars is annoying
    Any help appreciated
    Regards

x800 GTO 16 pipe unlock step by step

Ok, there is a gigantic thread going on with this that has been extremely helpful. However, you have to search the entire thread to actually figure out what to do. So, I'm going to list step by step instructions right here for anyone who needs them.

    Step 1: Download the attachment
Step 2: Follow the instructions about checking your fuses
Step 3: Dump your bios with ATItool (Settings -> Miscellaneous -> dump bios)
Step 4: Open your current BIOS with RaBit 1.7 or later and go to "Logging" section scroll down and search for:
    Desc: RADEON X800 GTO
    Info: 11X-CC6600SA-004, CC6600SA.004, 01/20/05,14:19:32
Step 5: If all checks out, simply burn the iso, boot from it, and flash!

Ultra special thanks to dolf for coming up with all this stuff and thanks to everyone else in the forum. This should simplify the process a bit!
