  1. mouse scrolling messed up after windows 10 update

When I updated my Windows 10 home version in Feb 2021, I found that scrolling of my mouse became very jumpy. I tried everything: unistall and reinstall the drive, reboot the computer. However, nothing worked. Then, I found the latest update in March and updated to it hoping that the latest update would resolve the issue. And, it is still a problem.

Would you please let me know what I should do? This is quite annoying.

    :)

  2. How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
