Windows 10: Mouse sensitivity keeps changing. Slows down, often. Turning mouse off and on resolves.

I have a New Microsoft Bluetooth® Ergonomic MouseWhile I am using it, the sensitivity changes and loses speed. It feels slow.Turning the mouse off and then on restores the settings to how I had them.Precision is on, custom and custom settings have been set via Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center.DPI is set to 2400I have observed that Windows has at least three locations for mouse speed, that don't sync up between them.I also imagine that the "Smart Switch" feature is probably the culprit.

Changing mouse sensitivity on the fly?

Probably, your are at the whim of your mouse driver... try googling your mouse model and "sensitivity"

I'm splurging on a G5 for home - I got one at work and it's the tits - two buttons below the wheel change the sensitivity instantly, irregardless of the applicaiton (but you also have that choice). Best mouse I've ever, ever used. So if you do end up buying a mouse... *Smile

Thanks for the help but unfortunately the steps didn't work and my mouse sensitivity is still not what it used to be. I honestly don't know if it's an issue with the mice or the computer.

• Open Settings.
• Go to Update and Security and select Windows Update.
• Select View installed update history.
• Choose the latest update and select uninstall.
