    Mouse settings syncing


    We have two laptops using the same network. One is a Dell and one is HP. One user is left-handed and the other is right-handed. The mouse buttons are syncing so they are either left or right-handed. How do I correct each PC to stay defaulted right or left?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Navigate to Start>Settings>Devices.
    • Click on Mouse and Touchpad.
    • In the right pane, click on Additional Mouse Settings.
    • Under Pointer tab, Click on Use Default.
    • Click on Apply and OK.

    Hi Zbigniew,

    I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue. I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check. Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

    • Type Mouse and Touchpad Setting in Search and hit
      Enter.
    • Change settings as per your requirement; click on Advance mouse options.
    • Change settings under Buttons, Points, Pointer options, Wheel.

    Mouse settings syncing

    Sync My Settings Not Syncing

    I had a problem previously related to my sync setting being greyed out. Now i have my 2 pcs logged in with a online Microsoft account, all the sync settings are turned on with both pc's. Still it does not seem to be syncing. Any suggestions guys?
