I have two displays, one is 4k plugged into my discrete GPU w/150% scaling through windows, the other is 1440p plugged into my iGPU w/100% scaling on my mb since I don't need graphical performance on this monitor with BOTH being 27 inches. The 4k monitor is my main monitor, and my 1440p monitor is a secondary vertical monitor. Whenever I move my mouse over to the second screen, the mouse doesn't "jump" like I've seen other users have issues with, but it adjusts it's position relative to the vertical position it was at on my main monitor if mouse is 3/4 of the way up on my 4k screen, it wi

  2. Mouse enters the second monitor at different positions

The path of the mouse is defined by pixels, not by physical dimensions. This implies:

    • If your monitors have exactly the same vertical PPI, you can fiddle with the vertical alignment of the screens - either by physically moving them or by adapting the display layout in the control panel.
    • If your monitors do not have the exact same vertical PPI, there is no way to make the mouse transitions exact for all screen positions. You can though try to make them exact in the middle and so reduce the offset at the top or bottom.

  3. Vertical Mouse for Windows 10

The question was what VERTICAL mouse works with window 10 and the response given was for palm down mice.

This is not vertical. Imagine you are holding a beach ball in front of you with both hands in a relaxed manor. Then with your palms facing each other, thumb up and little finger down relax your fingers. that is the position a vertical mouse allows the
hand to be in. The result is the two bones in the forearm are relaxed and not putting pressure on the legitimates or nerves passing through the carpal tunnel.

mice forcing a palm down position are causing personal injuries and will be the next wave to personal injury lawsuits to hit the market,

I am seeking a mouse like a Logitech track ball turned on its side with the track ball mounted the on the opposite side so the the thumb and index finger oppose each other when the hands are relaxed and can rest naturally on the ball and control switches
    without twisting the forearm.

I would then place my hand on the mouse like I was going to shake hands with my thumb resting on the ball and fingers on the buttons.

    Jump List vertical spacing

Anyone know of a way to condense down the vertical spacing for Jump Lists? It may be reasonable for tablets, but the spacing is ridiculously over-large for anything with a mouse.

    Thanks
