Windows 10: Mouse stuck in bottom right of screen

I was just starting up my pc and my mouse started flickering back to the edge og the bottom right part of the screen. i have searched up the problem but it seems like they indicate its a problem with that mouse specifically, which its not. i tried with another mouse and its the same. i have restarted the system multiple times and changed usb ports back and forth. please help!

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

Mouse pointer stuck at upper right of screen

Thanks in advance for your kind time here...

I'm on Windows 10 Home on a HP Spectre laptop with a touchscreen. My mouse cursor is getting stuck to the top right of the screen. It's almost as if a second mouse is trying to constantly click on the top right. I cannot really move it from that position
and the only way I could get 'another mouse' on the screen was by running explorer.exe to create another cursor. The touchscreen is working.

Stuck mouse pointer could be due to a hardware concern or conflict with an application. We'd like to ask a few questions to helps us know why is this behavior happening:

• Before this happened, do you remember what action/activity you last performed with the laptop that may have caused this?
  
• Were there any changes, recent updates, or newly installed applications on your device that may have triggered this?
  
• Are you plugging a mouse to use? If you are, try unplugging it and see if the issue will persist.
  
• To avoid repetition, can you provide us with all the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far?
  
  In the meantime, we recommend cleaning the touchpad/mouse from dust. Dust buildup could cause an optical mouse to misbehave as it blocks the light sensor or the touchpad gets clog around the edges mimicking a press. See
