Windows 10: Mouse Wheel Not Moving Any Slider-Controlled Windows 11 Menus

My RealTech / Logitech mouse wheel is not moving the controls in any Win 11 'slider operated' menus. I can click on the slider and move the whole mouse accordingly, but I know better from Windows 10 and earlier operating systems that the mouse wheel alone should execute this action. This is a standard operation of a mouse wheel, not personalized.How do I get the mouse wheel to actuate these 'slider' controls as before?-Thanks

Windows 10 mouse scroll wheel issue

• Click Start > Settings.
• Go to Devices > Mouse & touchpad.
• Under Choose how many lines to scroll each time, move the slider to the right to make the speed of your mouse wheel faster.

Mouse Wheel Not Working

When I press down on the wheel and hold it I get a circle with the arrows of 4 points of the compass then I can move the mouse up or down to 'scroll' through a page, all while holding the wheel depressed. Rolling the wheel is a separate function, might look in Control Panel, Mouse for its settings, I like 1 line at a time but with Win10 it is a slider bar and full left end is the 1 line.
