Windows 10: Mouse wheel scroll jumping, please help.. Windows 10 June, 18th 2019.

Alright, I'm exhausted.. so much research, and no answer. someone please help if you can, NO this has nothing to do with my wheel sensitivity. I've changed it from 2 to 1 and still i'm experiencing my scrolling wheel going up and down as i'm trying to go down or up. it jumps back and forth whenever i use it, I can't stress how long I've tried and have given up on solving this issue. I've bought two mouses at this point because i assumed this problem occurred from my first one for buying a cheaper option on a mouse after building my first pc. It stopped after a while when i bought the newer mouse, but started again after some time within the month. I've tried uninstalling the device and letting windows reinstall it upon reboot, plus for some odd reason i have multiple mouses in my device manager even though i own and only have used two. i uninstalled them all before, yet they come back along with my mouse i'm currently using. my cursor is fine, the scrolling is my only issue and it's a nuisance for both work and gaming. Any advice?

jumping page when scrolling with mouse wheel

I am using windows 10 and recently my mouse started jumping the page up and down when using the wheel for scrolling. I have tried changing the settings like suggested but it doesn't work. What else can I do to fix this problem?

• Click Start > Settings.
• Go to Devices > Mouse & touchpad.
• Under Choose how many lines to scroll each time, move the slider to the right to make the speed of your mouse wheel faster.

Windows 10 not registering Mouse Scroll Wheel input

Suggest you try:
a. A different mouse
b. Safe mode (will use different driver)
c. Check inside mouse- dirt can get into mouse around the scroll wheel - I find cat hairs accumulate
d.Check the value of




"WheelScrollLines"="0" - probably disables scrolling.
