Windows 10: Mouse without border keyboard caps lock status across pcs.

Hi, Case 1: having no issues on Keyboard Caps lock statusWindows 7 and 10 Setup.While in this setup the keyboard caps lock status syncs to windows 7. Example: If on windows 10 I press Caps lock ON and move mouse to Windows 7, I get the keyboard Caps Lock in ON State irrespective of physical keyboard Caps lock status, which helpful as I don’t have to bother caps lock status while mouse goes to Windows 7. Okay, let me review my concern.



Case 1: (having no issues Keyboard Caps lock status)

Windows 7 and 10 setup.

While in this setup the keyboard caps lock status syncs to windows 7. Example: If on windows 10 I press Caps lock ON and move mouse to Windows 7, I get the keyboard Caps Lock in ON State irrespective of physical keyboard Caps lock status, which helpful as I don’t have to bother caps lock status while mouse goes to Windows 7.



Case 2: (having issues Keyboard Caps lock status)

Windows 10 and Windows 10 setup.

While is this setup the keyboard caps lock status doesn’t syncs to target windows 10, Example: If on windows 10 I press Caps lock ON and move mouse to other (target) Windows 10 PC, I get caps lock in OFF state, even if the caps lock is physically OFF on target Windows 10 PC.



If developer can add an option where user can choose the keyboard CAPS LOCK and NUMLOCK Status to spread across on all PCs connected irrespective of physical keyboard Capslock and Numlock of each PCs, then it would be very great and would be an added feature.



Hope I raised my concern and suggestion to your understanding.

Cap lock issue Mouse Without Borders

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We were able to reproduce the issue and yes, you’re right. When you are connected using Mouse without Borders, you may face issues in identifying the CAPS lock or indicator light state. When you move your mouse from the primary computer to secondary computer
and try toggling the CAPS lock, you will not get any indication on the primary computer’s keyboard. You will see the indicator lights turning
ON and OFF in the secondary computer’s keyboard.

When you move the mouse from secondary computer to primary computer, you will be able to type in the same state (Caps lock
ON or OFF) which is indicating on the keyboard. Once you move it to the secondary computer, you will not see the change in your keyboard, however, you will be able to type in same state as you had left it earlier.

Mouse without border (Keyboard caps and numlock doest sync with)

Hi,

I have windows 7 and windows 10.

From windows 10 when I move the mouse to windows 7 pc it moves very well. The keyboard caps lock and unlock go sync into windows 7 and no issues.

If I put Caps Lock on and move mouse to windows 7, i get caps lock on in windows 7 as well., but same thing doest go with Windows 10 to Windows 10.

I have Windows 10 and Windows 10.

On Windows 10 and Windows 10 setup, when I move the mouse to another Windows 10 and the keyboard caps lock is ON, I Caps lock OFF position and I have keep track of caps lock status which is bit frustrating and distracting.

In windows 7 and Windows 10 setup, the caps lock work seamlessly and follow the caps lock status on from windows 10 to 7 and viceversa.

Please help

Note: I dont have keyboard and mouse connected to windows 7 Pc on Windows 7 and 10 setup.
