Windows 10: Mouse Without Borders w/ MS 5050 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse >>TLT Wheel & CAD<<

I have noticed lately that my MS 5050 wireless keyboard & mouse has some issues with the Mouse Without Borders program. The items that I notice the most are;


1) The tilt wheel only seems to work on the machine that has the dongle plugged into it. The wheel will roll up and down thru worksheets in Excel or programs like the NOAA National Radar Mosaic, but the tilt will only move these programs side to side in the machine that currently has the dongle plugged into it. If I open the control panel in each machine the WHEEL TAB only shows in Control Panel if the dongle is plugged into that machine, but the wheel still rolls up and down regardless.


2) The network I'm on has the machines go to a lock screen after 10 minutes of inactivity. On a seemingly random schedule the machines will require a CAD in order to get the Log On password box to appear. This is only possible for me if I change the dongle to the machine that has locked. I recently found a note about changing something so that the slave machine(s) will respond to a Ctrl+Alt+End combination instead. I will have to run that by our IT people that posses all magical passwords for changing things. A friend of mine had suggested possibly using a foot pedal on the slave machine to give the CAD combination when required (not sure which would work out best)

Microsoft 5050 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Not Detected


Hi,
Wireless Mouse and Keyboard 5050 not being detected. Can't re-install drivers as it says they are already on the system, but can't uninstall them either as they are not in my list of programs.
They are working...but I would like to be able to access the Mouse and Keyboard Centre program.
Also get an error saying it can't find MKCHelper.exe.
Anyone have any ideas, please?

 

Terrible lag and jerk on Wireless 5000 mouse - Windows 10, Lenovo

I replace a prior MS Wireless Mouse and Keyboard yesterday with the Comfort 5050 Keyboard and Mouse set.

Keyboard works fine. The mouse has terrible lag.

I have:

• Downloaded the most current drivers.
• Changed the USB port to three different options.
• Changed batteries.
• Restarted multiple times.

My prior MS Wireless Mouse had worked fine until the rubber came off the scroll wheel. But it connected fine. However, this one does not.

Other suggestions before I return the item.

just bought the wireless mouse and keyboard 5050.

windows 10 ( new computer less than 5 months old) 64bit

the computer recognized the keyboard and the mouse but I'm unable to install the control center to customize my keyboard
