Windows 10: Mousepad drag issues: Is this a windows 10 problem?

Hi people, since upgrading to windows 10 I've encountered a few issues, especially my laptop seeming sluggish after its stated up for the first few minutes, but the issue that is annoying me the most is.

My mouse pad seems to have changed, I don't know what, but when I double click anything and drag, after I let go, it still seems to stick for a second. I know it doesn't seem an issue, but this is what it does:

When I drag down webpage and then let go to move across, as it's still clicked, it drags the page all over the place
If I am moving a tab in Chrome, as it keeps a hold of it, it pulls it to a new screen of its own.

Using the left click works fine, its just when I use the mouse pad.
Have others encountered this problem, or is this just me?
All drivers are up to date by the way, and I've checked my mouse settings and they seem to be as they where?

freezing mousepad/touchpad

hello, i've been having an issue with my touchpad/mousepad. i recently upgraded to windows 10, and ever since whenever i use the keyboard, just by touching any key the mousepad will freeze and remain inactive for about 5 seconds.

Font/ icon size in Windows 10!

Select the icons by clicking on them once, this will show a checkmark in the upper left corner of the icon (you can select multiple icons at a time) and then you can scroll up or down with the wheel on your mouse to increase or decrease size.

If you're like myself and use the mousepad on a laptop or touchscreen, you simply use your fingers moving in or out in a diagonal pattern and that will increase or decrease them! To increase, start with both fingers in the middle of the mousepad and drag
your right finger up and to the right at the same time you drag your left finger down and to the left.

Is it just with the mousepad, or does using a full sized moused plugged in do the same?

 

I don't have a mouse to test with at the moment unfortunately.
When I use the left click with the buttons, its totally fine, only when I double tap with the mouse pad. It feels like when I let go of the pad, it doesn't register for a second.
