Windows 10: Mousesetting will not be saved, it is reset immidatly

I’m trying to change the mouse settings, but it gets reset immediately. I’ve seen many people with similar problems, but they are usually on laptops (I have a home build computer) and the reset happens on reboot, not immediately.

Steps I take:

Control panel > Mouse properties > Pointer Options where I change the pointer speed to fast. I hit the button ‘Apply’ and the speed changes. I hit the button ‘OK’ and the speed is reset to slow.

Then I go into the Registry Editor:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Control Panel > Mouse > MouseSpeed where I change the Value data from 2 to 8. I go out, wait a little and go back in. The value is again 2.

I have tried to update the drivers and also Uninstall device from Device Manager. Didn’t change a thing.

Information about my computer:

Win10 Pro
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz 2.66 GHz
Installed memory: 16 GB
System type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor

Mouse Driver:
Microsoft, version 10.0.17134.1

I have to mice:
USB Input Device: Logitech G400 – U0028
Contour Rollermouse Re:d

The mice, the keyboard and one of the monitors are connected to the computer through a BlackBox ServSwitch DT Series

Cannot access my User Account on local machine but can access Admin account. Need help finding password but NOT reset it as it will delete saved data.

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

If you reset the local account password it will not delete the Saved data.

I suggest you to back up the saved data and files from the admin account and try to reset the password and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below to reset the password.

• 
  Press Windows + R.
  
• 
  Type netplwiz and press enter.
  
• 
  Select the user account.
  
• 
  Click on Reset Password.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

• Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
• Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
• Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

• Go to Settings.
• Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
• Select add someone else on this PC.
• Enter a user name and hit next.
• Click on Finish.
• Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
