Windows 10: MoUsoCoreWorker.exe taking up 1.8 GB of my 8 GB RAM on Windows!! Any fixes or what I can do...

For some reason, it is taking up 1.8GB and I don't even know what it does really. What can I do about it? More details below.

Recently bought a laptop with 8 gigs and was insecure so I kept monitoring the RAM usage continuously and to my surprise, the idle usage was 47 - 50% when on my other 8 GB PC, it was around 10% less. I gave in to the fact that it was Cached or Bloatware using it but saw other peoples posts with same bloatware and their idle usage was max 41 - 42%. So, I kept searching until came across a post that told me to check the resource monitor and I did and lo and behold, the MoUsoCoreWorker.exe taking up 1.8GB which is around the same amount of memory I've been missing. In the current screenshot, I have about 5 MS Edge tabs opened and one pdf file with VSCode and FreeDownloadManager and the usage is at 81%. The same usage would give me max 67-70% on my other Laptops. So, what does this thing exactly do and how to stop it as this doesn't happen on my other laptops.

16 GB of Ram installed hardware hijacking 8 GB of it.

Hi and thank you for your reply. Yes I have tried that (I forgot to mention that): fitting both Rams into slots 1 and 3 and both back into slots 1 and 2. Then I tried putting both into slot 2 to see if they worked and they both worked. Now when i go into
the BIOS, under memory, it says up at the top 8 GB of memory it is using I am thinking. Down to the right where it actually shows what is plugged into the slots where the ram is, it says: in one slot 8 GB and in the other 8 GB. So, to me it actually is registering
the two ram sticks in the slots but is only using 8 GB of memory and that's why it is showing 8 GB in the BIOS? That's what I am hopefully thinking anyway. I am going to look up on my keyboard on how to take a screen shot of my bios so I can show you and get
back to you. Does this sound right to you? Thanks!
