Windows 10: Move from Win 7 to Win 10, installation on older PC.

Hello, it is good idea now move from Win 7 to Win 10? I have heard that Win 10 21H2 will be last build before Win 11, so make sense wait until it come? I dont want reinstall my OS every 6 months, that is why i stuck on Win 7. There is no hurry for me leave Win 7, i only move to Win 10 because new games no longer support Win 7. If is good idea install Win 10, then i have 2 questions: I have old motherboard (Asus Maximus VII Ranger) and my motherboard vendor offers Win 10 drivers, but they are from year 2015. So should i install those official but old drivers for my motherboard or should i get drivers somewhere else? Windows update, Intel Driver Support Assistant, and etc? I have SSD and HDD for data. So if i install Win 10 to my SSD in UEFI mode (GPT), should be my HDD for data also formatted to GPT or should stay MBR? Thank you. Windows 7 64bit SP1

Win.10 won't boot after installing Win.7

Hi,

So i installed Win.10 via the UEFI and after installing Win.7 on Legacy Mode onto a different HDD i can't boot into Win.10 (I believe can only because Win.10 was installed via UEFI)

I tried installing the BCD Software but nope. I even tried to select my HDD but say Winload.exe error

Even tried going into the USB and try repairing but the same thing happens

 

Win 10 boots...

I can't answer to the speed of Win-8 booting. I tried the Win-8 preview and went back to Win-7 after a month. They say that Win-8.1 is a lot better than Win-8 was.
My Win-10 TP is working well ATM.

 

INSTALLED WIN XP ON WIN 7 THEN UPGRADED TO WIN 10 TO RUN OLDER SOFTWARE

I INSTALLED A SECOND OS (XP) ON MY WIN 7 COMPUTER TO BE ABLE TO RUN OLDER GAME SOFTWARE.

AFTER XP WAS INSTALLED AND WORKING I UPDATED WIN 7 TO WIN 10

SINCE THE WIN 10 UPDATE I AM UNABLE TO RUN XP

HELP?
