Windows 10: move game storage location?

So, I am trying to change the location of where my sims 4 game and content are stored but the move option isn't available. but it's a large install and I can't even download all of the content with the game. I'm wanting to relocate it to the external drive instead of the system hard drive. I have a gateway that's from Walmart its only got 64bg but the external is 128gb. but even after choosing to relocate everything to save to external, it still downloaded to the system memory. so how do i move origin and sims to external with no 'move' button????

Change storage location of Microsoft Store games

I know it is possible to change the default locations for apps from within the Storage menu in Settings, but is it possible to set the location for just the apps marked as Games? I use an other partition for games and want to keep things seperated and
organized.
