Windows 10: move photos from download file to 'photos folder'

Discus and support move photos from download file to 'photos folder' in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; have managed to get the photos from my Google photos to the download folder on my windows laptop but cannot get them into the 'photo folder' I tried...     have managed to get the photos from my Google photos to the download folder on my windows laptop but cannot get them into the 'photo folder' I tried dragging them didn't work I can see them in the download folder ok but want to but them all together with other photos help please

    How to unhide a single files like photos???

    Hi ppl hope everthings good there my external HDD get an infection in my friends computer and i have a lot of pics there and i want to ask you guys how to a unhidde a single file like a photo to better explain the virus converted all my folders to shortcuts but i was able to restore them but the single files like photos i can only see them if i put the explorer to show hidden files and folder and the hidden check box in the photos are gray does anyone know how to fix it???

    Save photo folders

    Hello Cece,

    There are several ways for you to transfer your photos to your USB device. You can follow the steps provided below:

    • Plug-in the USB device to your computer.
    • Using File Explorer navigate to your photo folders and highlight them.
    • Click Move to and choose Choose location...
    • Then select the USB device you want to store your photo folders to.
    • Or, you can drag and drop the photo folders to the removable USB device location folder and it will copy the files to the destination folder.

    Stop Microsoft Photos from opening downloaded photos

    Hi JamesAderman,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    Are you referring to the pictures in Windows photos app??

    If yes, you can proceed with the following steps.

    You can exclude the pictures showing in the Downloads folder from the Microsoft Photos app, by following the below steps.

    1. Launch the Microsoft Photos app.
    2. Click on the ellipse icon >
      Settings.
    3. Under Sources, click on
      X mark next to Downloads folder.
    Microsoft Photos app will not display the downloaded pictures.
