Move recovery partition - is it possible?

I upgraded a couple days ago from a 250 GB HDD to a 500 GB SSD. I imaged the old drive using the Windows Image toolControl Panel -> System and Security -> Backup & Restore -> Create system image and then I restored the image to the new drive. The only problem is that it also restored the old partition table, thus making around 232 GB unusable.

Since the image is in Greek, I am going to translate it:

Partition 1: System Reserved, 549 MB NTFS

Partition 2: Local Disk C:, 231,84 GB NTFS

Partition 3: Recovery partition, 515 MB

And the 232,88 GB of non-used space.

Note: The PC is a refurbished one, so it's not an OEM recovery partition, it's the Windows one.

Since Disk Management does not give me an option to move the partition and I do not want to destroy it by using a 3rd party tool such as GParted it works for Ubuntu partitions, but it screws up Windows ones, I had that happen to me once, is there a way to move that partition so I can extend my main one? Or will I have to delete it and then re-build it in some way?

    :)

    How To: Create recovery partition.

it worked when i copied all the files of the disk to the recovery partition i created, but i had to use WinPE tab to add the entry.

    Type: WIM Image (Ramdisk)
    Name: Recovery
    Path: Z:\Sources\boot.wim
    and hit Add Entry
I tried it in VirtualBox and it worked.
At first, it would add a second "Windows 7" entry to the list, but when the installation is finished, the old one is deleted. (I formatted only C: partition)

    Lost recovery partition

Hello, I see that you are having issues with recovery partition. I would suggest you using the diskpart command in the command prompt. First, open up the comand prompt as an administrator, then type in diskpart. Now, type in list disk, and look for the
recovery partition drive. Follow the steps in the link below:
