  1. Move to and Copy to options

I recently upgraded to Windows 11. A feature that I don't see which I used quite often in Windows 10 is the option to Move to or Copy to which used to be in the top ribbon. Can someone please tell me if it was removed or if I just don't know how to locate it?

    :)

  3. Getting back delete,copy,paste options

    Hello Beth,

As the above description is not clear provide us additional information to assist you better:

    • What exactly happens when you try to access these option on your device?
    • Are these options grayed out?
    • Is this issue confined to any specific file type, in specific folder?
    • Do you remember if you have made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?

As a workaround, let us what exactly happens when you try Ctrl+ c, Ctrl+ v option to copy, paste the files.

Try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a
Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the Start button, click on
      Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
      Enter.
    • After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: I suggest you to boot the system in Safe mode with Networking and check if the issue persists.

Refer: Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10

Follow the below steps to place the computer in normal mode.

    1. Press
Windows + R keys to open Run command.

    2. Type
    msconfig and press Enter.

    3. In the
System Configuration window, click on General tab.

    4. Select
Start-up selection as Normal startup, click on
    Apply
    and Ok.

    5. Follow onscreen instructions.

Hope it helps. Reply to the post with the required information and updated status of this issue for further assistance.

    Thank you.

Move to and Copy to options

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
