  1. Moved back to parents and PC seems to be having and causing internet issues.

I am on a wired connection directly from the hub to the back of my PC and everytime I turn on the PC it seems to completely wipe out the internet in the house. The Wi-Fi drops for every device, the hub speeds slow down and the wired download speed for my PC is stupidly low around 2mbps even though the house is getting around 40.I have searched all over to try a

  3. Childs PC and Parental PIN

    Hi Darren Harrison,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

To make sure, I suggest you refer to the steps below to check if a PIN has been added to the parental control settings:

    1. Open "Control Panel": You can type "Control Panel" in the Windows search bar and select the corresponding result to open the Control Panel.
    2. Access the Parental Controls settings: In the Control Panel, locate and click on "User Accounts and Family Safety."
    3. Choose the Parental Controls settings: On the Parental Controls page, find the account of the child you want to make changes to and click on it.
    4. Modify the Parental Controls settings: In the Parental Controls settings page, you should be able to find the option to "Change Parental Control Settings" or a similar option. Click on it, and you may need to enter the administrator password for verification.
You are right about one thing. If your child's PC has not been logged into your account, there is indeed no option to change the PIN in the system's account settings.

I want to check with you if you have used the Microsoft Family app on your phone?

There are also settings for child accounts on the app, maybe you can find the settings on the app.

Finally, there is another possibility, please check whether your Microsoft account (parent account) has set a PIN or turned on two-factor authentication, and if so, please temporarily close them.

Turning two-step verification on or off for your Microsoft account

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thank you.

    Best regards
