Windows 10: Moved my computer and Realtek became non functional

Dell XPS 8920 Desktop Win 10.I bought this sound system when the computer was new and never had a single issue.I moved my computer 400 miles in the back seat of my truck and when powered up at the new home, I had lost audio out from my computer. I have tried everything to get a hard wired audio signal to my old and my new Realtek 2.1 speakers but cannot make it happen. I have tried Itunes app and Youtube and get sound from neither from the Realtek.The first 2.1, a Realtek Z336 I deduced possibly incorrectly would not power up after the move. I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

 

Non-destructively Moving / recreating EFI partition

hello - I'm getting to the last step here and when I do the command bcdboot E:\windows /s S: it just returns a list of diskpart commands. E is the 930GB NTFS volume that's the main partition on the 1TB drive. The BOOT partition doesn't have a letter assigned to it. The new EFI 100MB partiton is volume 12 / letter S. I can't see how to post a pic on my phone here but will try on my laptop so you can see the full volume list thanks! - - - Updated - - -
