I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

 

Windows 10 Screensaver not working with Lock Screen

When I manually lock my Windows 10 pc, the screensaver never turns on, but if I let the pc sit and wait the set amount of time for the screensaver to come on, it does and my screen will lock when I move the mouse or key press.

How can I set a screensaver to run when I manually lock the pc?

 

Screensaver doesn't deactivate on mouse move or keystroke

Since updating to Windows 10 Creators Edition, my screensaver no longer deactivates and returns me to my desktop upon a mouse move or single keystroke, like it had done previously. The only way I have found to return to my desktop is to hit ctrl-alt-del
and then cancel on the ensuing screen. I cannot find a setting for this.

Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have a solution?
