Windows 10: Moved Old Music Folder to PC, But not Seeing Songs in Media Player

I Moved Music Folder from Win7 PC to Win 10 -- I can see the folder and files, but the songs aren't accessible or seen in Windows Media Player ... Plz help!

Old Media Player problem on Windows 10 64-bit home edition


I have a 3-disk set of music CD. When I try to rip the music on the 3rd CD it thinks that it is the first CD. Media player lists the first CD songs, but will play the 3rd CD. The songs are listed as the ones on the first CD. How do I convince Media Player to rip the third CD so that I can play it? I will not give up using the Old Media Player !

 

5800 XM music player wont see songs on E drive (memory card)

Nokia 5800 XM with v.31.2.101 firmware.



I am able to use the media button on the upper right hand corner of the phone face to start the music player. However the music player will not play songs on the E drive when opened in this manner. Opening the music library details from the options key,
I get a list of songs, duration, how much phone memory is free, the message that mass memory is unavailable and that there is 4.3 Gb of free memory on the memory card......When under options (again) I tell the music player to refresh the library, it still
does not see the songs on the memory card.



I can use file manager to open the music and digital sounds folder on E drive and play the songs-- however the media player does not show a graphic equalizer when played this way, and the number of keystrokes to play a song in this manner are a PITA.



So why will the media player not see E drive songs when opened in the conventional manner....and what needs to be done to enable the media player to see E drive without having to go through the file maqnager to access the songs there???



I searched this forum and did not find any threads to assist me before I posted this message. Any help or suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
