    Movies and TV freezing


    Hello,Last 3 days i have been having a problem with my Movies and TV app. It keeps freezing the moment i open up clips from my folders. I have tried everything from reinstalling the app resetting it but it didnt help a single bit. I also thought maybe resetting my whole pc would help. Even that didnt help.Downloading an older driver from nvidia didnt help either. I thought maybe it could have been a problem with the new nvidia driver that just dropped. But that wasnt the case.     Movies & TV app not working properly.

    Hi,

    I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows Key.
    • Type Windows Powershell.
    • Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
    • Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.
    get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

    Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.
