Windows 10: Moving Applications

I have several applications that are installed on my computer that I want to move from my C: drive to my D: drive. I actually did not realize that this prebuilt laptop even had a D: drive until recently, when I started having issues with errors installing updates due to not enough room on the C: drive. Both C: and D: are on the same physical drive, but are separate partitions on the same physical drive. I uninstalled several applications from the C: drive and reinstalled them on D:. But, I am finding that some just won't let me do this, either they won't uninstall, or they will only instal

There may be several reasons why you are unable to resize or move applications after installing an update. To better assist you with your concern, we would like you to answer the questions below:

• Does it happen only on one application?
• Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter

Move Applications Between Virtual Desktops

Try the following steps to move applications between virtual desktops.

• 
  Right-click on the program you want to move.
  
• 
  Select “Move to”, and then select the desktop number to which you want to move the program.
  

You can also, drag and drop the app of your choice to the desktop you want to add.

Thank you for the reply Nyima Yonten. My concern is not about switching between application windows, but moving them between multiple desktops. By the way, I am assuming that you meant Windows Key + Tab Key in the first step of your suggestion.
