Guys & Gals, this covers not only Windows 10, also covers Windows 8 and 7, all versions/all editions.
I know there are several places that give details on how to move C:\users' users profile folders from C
to another partition or to another HD [internal].
There are drawbacks. Can youse nice folks give some snippit-quotes and URLs regarding the drawbacks?
I believe that picking up one end of the stick means getting the other end of the stick as well.
I'm at work, and there are wirelss limitations, I can't do certain searches, I can't copyNpaste anywhere today.

    :)

I have used the Sysprep method to relocate the Users folder (and ProgramData in Windows 7, moving it is not supported in Windows 8, 8.1 and 10) since early beta days of Windows Vista. Never had an issues, I have not heard nor do I know any drawbacks.

When done, Windows works exactly before. See these tutorials and read a bit the conversations in these tutorial threads for more information:

Kari, I finally was able to get in here, from home. I thought if one had to ReInstall Windows or do a major Repair Windows, either option would put all the user profiles and respective pointers back to default C.

Yes, of course. If you reinstall, Windows by default puts everything on C: regardless which method you have used. You then have to repeat the procedure to get stuff moved.
