    Moving from Zune to Groove


    I'm sure this has been asked, but I can't find an answer. I avoided Windows 8, afraid my Zune/Xbox music pass wouldn't transfer. I bit the bullet and upgrade to 10. Zune software still runs fine, but won't download (I'm assuming an incompatible DRM issue?). Groove doesn't seem to have a download option, other than purchase. So I'm wondering how do I download and get new tunes on my Zune player using my subscription?

    Sync my Zune

    You don't.

    You can play music you've *bought* from groove on your zune, but not music that comes from the music pass (zune and groove use different copy protection systems).

    to sync to zune, you need to use the zune desktop client, as you always have.

    After several hours with windows and xbox support I figured out a fix.

    Even though the Zune market place is supposedly gone, all of my music

    selections in groove show up in my zune collection as well. When I login

    to my zune account I can play all of my music. I could always go to the

    zune app and play music that was there but I had to move between

    zune and groove to get to everything. Now I just login to zune and

    everything works fine. It appears that the windows 10 upgrade merged

    the 2 applications and groove doesn't work but zune does.
