Windows 10: Moving Gallery to the Task Bar

Hi guys,Is it possible to move Gallery to the task bar?In the past when I've wanted to move something to the task bar and it was unsuccessful, I've opened Properties, Show More Options, created a shortcut, gone to Shortcut icon, opened the shortcuts properties, gone to Target, and in front of its destination typed Explorer, leave a space, Save it.At this point I can right click it, Show more options, Send to Taskbar.When I try this for Gallery, click on the Shortcut tab, the Target line has Gallery written in light grey instead of black.Does this mean that it can't be moved?I look forward to y

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

Trying to move desktop icon to the task bar. Cannot make it “stick” to the taskbar

  When you say “Trying to move desktop icon to the task bar”, you mean pin the excel workbook to the task bar?
  
• what exactly when you try to stick the excel file to the taskbar?

If you are trying to pin the excel workbook to the taskbar.

Follow the steps below.

• 
  Click on the start menu, select the icon and right-click on the icon.
  
• 
  From the list, select pin it to taskbar or pin it to start.
  

Also, you can drag the icon from the desktop and drop on the task bar.

Task bar keeps moving

The issue might have been caused if the ‘Auto-hide’ task bar option got checked. So, I would suggest you to try the following steps to disable auto hide task bar.

a. Right click on the Task bar.

b. Click on Properties.

c. Put a uncheck mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

d. Click on Apply and OK.

Also check the option “task bar location on the screen” need to select “bottom”.
